Campus wide networking comprises high bandwidth fiber optic backbone of 1 GBPS provided by NKN which is the primary link that connects all the corners of the institute and a backup link 100Mbps redundant/secondary in case of failure. The college data network is also extended to the hostels through the fiber optic backbone. Students, staff, faculties and guests can connect with desktops, laptops, mobile phones to a wireless access point. Wi-Fi access points are set up in important junctions in hostels and in the campus hallways and inside the library where students do their academic work independently.
Two CC labs are well equipped with 50 machines each with both LAN and WiFi connectivity and preloaded with main software tools for mathematical computations like MATLAB, Microsoft software and other computer programming related software. Computer Center also provides G-suite services – a brand of cloud computing, productivity and collaboration tool. It includes gmail, drive, docs, calendar, Google Meet and many more. The Institute website is also maintained by the center which is the first point of contact between the institute and the public.
Central Library, which is the heart of the Institute, was established in 2012. It serves as a creative and innovative partner in supporting the teaching, learning, and research activities of the Institute. The Library holds the knowledge resources predominantly related to Science and Technology, Humanities, Management & other allied subjects. The Library is computerized with an integrated system connected to the Campus Network, providing an e-resource facility to the institutional community. The entire Library collection, including the online databases, is made available through Institute's network. Library collection can also be searched through Web OPAC. The Library is a regular subscriber of full-text databases such as Science-Direct, Springer-Link, ACM Digital Library, IEL (GP), ASCE, ASME and other e-resources for the benefit of its user community. The library also has around 6000 e-books on popular publishers such as Pearson, Wiley, Elsevier and Springer Nature to cater to the growing information needs of the students. The Library has also subscribed to the KNIMBUS Remote Access tool. The students, faculty members, and research scholars can access all the e-resources subscribed by the Library and open access journals remotely using KNIMBUS.
The Central Workshop is the central facility for imparting training to the undergraduate students of all branches. Students of all branches use workshop facilities for fabrication of their minor and major projects. This facility is used for the manufacture of components, parts and repair work.
