Supercomputing and Research Infrastructure
The Supercomputing Education and Research Centre (SERC) at IISc provides state-of-the-art high-performance computing facilities supporting advanced research and academic activities. The center hosts PARAM Pravega, one of the largest supercomputing systems in an academic institution in India under the National Supercomputing Mission, along with advanced GPU clusters, storage systems, scientific software, and visualization facilities. Students have access to computational resources used in areas such as artificial intelligence, aerospace engineering, computational sciences, climate modelling, materials research, electronics, and physics. Hostel and Dining Facilities
The Institute provides on-campus hostel accommodation for students subject to Institute rules and hostel allotment policies. The campus has multiple hostel blocks and dining halls catering to diverse student needs. B.Tech. students are provided hostel accommodation on a sharing basis during the first and second years of the program, while single-room accommodation may be provided from the third year onwards subject to availability.
The dining facilities on campus include vegetarian and composite dining halls that serve meals to students residing in hostels. Additional campus amenities such as convenience stores, food outlets, cafés, and student utility services are also available within the campus.

Health and Wellness Facilities
The Institute has a dedicated Health Centre that provides outpatient and inpatient medical facilities for students. The center is supported by medical officers, specialist consultants, diagnostic facilities, emergency care services, laboratory facilities, pharmacy support, and regular specialist consultations. All regular students are covered under the Students Health Care Scheme and are required to subscribe to the Institute-approved health insurance scheme.
