The ICT-IOCB supports 3-5 students under merit-cum-means scholarships. Th e range is Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 75,000/ per annum per person through several endowments, private trust and annual commitments by alumni. All economically deprived students are given assistance in the form of tuition fees, hostel fees, mess bills and travel assistance to present papers in national conferences.
Student Welfare funds
The Institute has created a Student Welfare Fund with the objective of making financial assistance available for meeting the welfare needs of students in need, such as emergent medical assistance, purchase of books and study material and any other comparable needs of students. An amount of Rs. 500 per semester is collected from all students towards the Student Welfare Fund and an equal amount is contributed by the Institute. The Fund is managed and monitored by a Committee which includes nominees from among the student community.
Student distress fund (Alumina Supported)
UDCT Alumni Association (UAA) is to promote infrastructure growth at ICT including development of laboratories and also to support student growth both academic and co-curricular. UAA support student activities organized by Technological Association and needy distress students.
Educational Loans Facilities by campus national bank
UAA support needy students in the form of loans, which students can pay back in installments after graduation
Medical Insurance Coverage
First-Aid service is available in the Institute and Hostel Office. For emergency, ambulance service is available to take patients to SUM Hospital which is concessional medical treatment. Only medicine cost is availed by the patient.
Travel support (Alumni Supported)
UAA support travel to students and Faculties who are interested to attend conferences, workshops etc.
Emergency Funds - Faculties, staff and students helped timely to various need students in accordance to fulfil the need of hour, for example: During the pandemic the economically weak students get funds from the ICT-IOCB for purchasing laptops, The funds were collected and provided for medical emergencies for highly needy students.
